Native Garden
Project Proposal
Product
Further steps that we could do to improve this garden would be to continue to look after it during the summer. Our plants are drought resistant, so I do not think that we would need to check back on our garden more than once a week. I think that our plants will attract bees because they are flowering. This is good because it helps pollinate our plants. Another animal relationship we have with our plants is that they are deer resistant - meaning that deer will not eat them. My group would also like to add decorations to our garden, such as stepping stones, bird bathes, bird feeders, or a bench. To teach younger students about the ecology of the North Coast, I would suggest that they view are gardens and observe the difference between native and indegenius species.
