Bioethics Presentation ~ GMO's
In this presentation, I worked with Kyle Jones, Jason Franks, Jack Duffin, and Ronan Shaffer. We worked together and did research on the topic of GMO's. GMO's are a controversial topic considering that they deal with one of the most important things to humans - food.
Something I found interesting:
Approximately 80% of all food in the United States has been genetically modified. Corn is the number one genetically modified food in the world.
Something I want to learn more about:
I want to know whether GMO's are actually good or bad for you. Some people say that GMO's are bad, but the companies that profit from the GMO's say that they are perfectly fine. As for me, I think that GMO's are good for people. I have yet to have seen a downside with them and I think that they help everybody.
Collaboration
Our group worked well with each other. We were on topic and we all worked together to make the presentation. We were organized in giving the presentation, but I do not think we had a complete understanding of our topic. All things considered, we were efficient enough to make a good, solid presentation.
